The Studios

The home of Plantation Studios sits within the Airship Studio facility. This beautiful collaboration between friends brings all aspects of production together. Sean and Dan are the owners and directors of North Coast Events and Lava AV a high-tech AV installation company. They run their business from the HQ which houses Airship Studio, a purpose-built, fully equipped audio and visual production studio. Airship Studio was constructed during the 2020 lockdowns when all events were cancelled, and the studio stands as a testament to the desire to maintain connection and collaboration within the community, and so Airship Studio was born. Airship was a major creative vessel for the community during this time and was used for band recordings, DJ sets, music videos, podcasts and a weekly live TV show featuring interviews with local and global artists and performers. When the world eventually reopened, and the events world came back to life, this stunning studio was largely left to sit and wait for its next incarnation and collaboration. Enter Plantation Studios. This collaboration of professional creatives offers you a world of unlimited possibilities right here in the heart of the Byron duzzie! Every part of this establishment is available for hire. From meeting rooms to workshop spaces, podcast and film studios, coupled with a vast array of decor, recording equipment and qualified tech specialists. Needless to say, we've got your creative needs covered. Plantation Studios offers training, workshops, masterclasses and mentoring for individuals and groups wanting to start a podcast or to take what you already have to the next level.
