BayFM Radio Broadcast Course
For the absolute beginners, dreamers, planners and procrastinators as well as those in need of a top-up or an update on the skills and processes involved in radio broadcasting
This 4-week in-person course is held at Bay FM in Byron on four consecutive Saturday's.
It offers an in-depth overview in radio broadcasting.
Includes structuring a show, concept and design, studio and field recordings, basic editing, scripting, presenting, media law and so much more. It includes a session in the studios offering an introduction to the panel as well as an opportunity to record your own 6-minute show demo.

This 4-week stage-by-stage approach includes in-depth concept planning and development, project management, content creation (interviewing and recording), editing in Audacity, post-production and distribution.​​​​​

PODCASTING
Podcast Masterclass
This 4-hour hands-on, demo style Masterclass is open to the curious, the creative, and those keen to explore the possibilities of podcast creation and implementation.
This is a group environment with some hands-on activities and discussions. It covers planning and preparation, recording and mic techniques, interviewing and basic editing, what gear you'll need and audio distribution.
No experience needed.
All participants will receive class notes and template handouts.

1 & 2 - Day Workshops
Every component of content creation can be taught as an individual 1- or 2-day workshop.
Whether it's creative editing, interviewing guests, understanding tech, script writing and planning, voice technique and recording, producing Canva promos for socials, or if you're simply stuck on how to turn your idea into a show format, there are workshops tailored to these specific topics.
The workshops are intensives and focus on one element of podcasting at a time. They're hands on with lots of practical activities and well-placed breaks.​​

Housed within Airship Studios we offer an air-conditioned purpose-built podcast and film studio, as well as a four-person editing suite and the grand teaching table in our labyrinth of learning.
You can use one of two Rodecaster Pros, as well as recording equipment, film gear, props, decor, lighting and tech professionals for your video or podcast project.

Combine this with private mentoring sessions and you'll be producing quality content and distributing it to the world.
